Documentary BBC news: Woman dies of blood clot.
Summary
The family of the woman who died from a blood clot is angry because they
misdiagnosed her condition. The Woman had terrible leg pain and went to the
doctor. He said it was just a sprain. The family had a history of deep vein
thrombosis. So ten days later she died. Post mortem examination found she died
of a clot that travelled trough her veins from her leg to her long. One of the
daughters says; “This shouldn’t have happened if they diagnosed her right. She
would’ve still been here.”

My opinion:
I think it’s terrible these mistakes still happen in the medical sector.
I think the family is right, if they diagnosed her right she would’ve lived.
But I also think that doctors can’t know everything. On the other hand if a
doctor knew the history of this family he could’ve known they suffer from the
deep vein thrombosis. And he could’ve prevented it. I think this is a difficult
issue, because if we make mistakes in our job nobody will be dead in the end. If
a doctor makes a mistake, the ending could be death. I understand the family is
angry, I would’ve been, but I know everybody makes mistakes, only this time it’s
very tragic.
